Enrollment


Families must plan a tour and pre-enrollment visit before registration.

All children enrolling in the program must have updated immunization records, health history, and physicals before the enrollment period.

How We Support Our Learners


Autism Spectrum Disorder

At Different Expectations Educational Services, our team is dedicated to providing specialized support for children with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder (ASD). As early childhood educators, we recognize the importance of implementing developmentally appropriate practices to ensure the success of these children. We closely track each student's progress, regularly communicating and collaborating with their families and the child's team of professionals, which may include speech therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and behavioral specialists. Additionally, we strive to provide community-based resources that enhance the lives of children with autism and their families. Our goal is to create an inclusive and supportive environment that fosters the growth and development of every child that on the spectrum of autism in our care.

Individualized Learning Plan and Kindergarten Readiness

We are committed to educating children in high-quality programs. That offers individualized learning plans to each student according to the child’s development. We use the Pennsylvania Learning Standards combined with the Creative Curriculum to create individualized programs.
All students individualized learning plans will help the student meet developmental learning goals combined with preparing the students for kindergarten.

Literacy Program

At Different Expectations, we share your belief in the importance of fostering a love for reading in children. We understand that reading not only enhances a child's imagination but also builds language and literacy skills and promotes social development. To encourage this love for reading, our staff reads a story to the children twice a day. This practice not only exposes them to the joy of storytelling but also models the importance of reading in their daily lives.

 

In addition, we encourage families to utilize our lending library to read to their children at home. We believe that reading at home is a valuable activity that can further strengthen the bond between parents and children, while also nurturing a lifelong love for books.

 

We recognize that books have the power to transport children to different worlds, spark their creativity, and inspire them to envision and manifest their future aspirations. By incorporating reading into our daily routines and providing access to a variety of books, we aim to instill a passion for reading in every child at Different Expectations Educational Services.

We have a partnership with ELRC to accept subsidized payments, and we accept electronic payments.
